Catherine Cardinal "Self Esteem Doc" Presents 7 Body Image and Self Esteem Tips
One of my newer Search Engine Optimization clients, Catherine Cardinal, also known as Self Esteem Doc, has written a great article on self esteem and body image. Lord knows how concerned we all are with body image, and maybe even more so here in Southern California.
Here is her newest article:
7 Things You Can Do To Improve Your Body Image And Self Esteem
For many people, their body image and self esteem form the foundational fabric of who they are. Your self esteem can be improved by instituting the following suggestions.
1. Learn to set reasonable goals. Whether it’s about your exercise routine or diet, don’t set the bar too high or you may find yourself resisting and then failing. Remember that a healthy, balanced life is a journey of steps. Give yourself permission to win by keeping a steady workable pace.
2. Single out what is beautiful about you. Perhaps you love your eyes, or your legs, but are unhappy with other parts. Keep your focus on those parts that work for you and know that everyone has parts they love and parts they wish they could change. Look into a mirror and focus on the good stuff.
3. Think before you speak and be a generous listener. When you take the time to hear others and contemplate what you are saying back, you are likely to have less conflict and form more genuine bonds with others. Receiving the love of great friends who accept us for exactly as we are, is a great asset to helping us love and accept ourselves.
4. Take pride in your accomplishments. We are all good at something. Make a list of those things which you feel really good about and read that list every day. "I am kind, courageous, a great swimmer, etc." Believe in your ability to be competent and also your ability to learn and accomplish new things.
5. Fast one day every two weeks. Give your body a rest by feeding it only vegetable and/or fruit juices. This cleansing will help keep your weight down, minimize cellulite and give you energy. If you feel good about it, try once a week.
6. Be aware of your inner critic. The negative voice in your head which puts you down. When you hear it, tell it to "pipe down and take a hike"! You are in control of your body and mind and no one is going to make you feel less than or not good enough. The critic is a result of all the negative things you have heard or experienced in your life. Let it all go and create positive scenarios in your head. Allow yourself to be creative and imaginative with your new found supportive voices.
7. Be in the moment. When you accept the reality of your life exactly as it is now, you stop the futile worrying about the past and the future. Take a moment each day to meditate on what is good about right now and focus on that. Give thanks and gratitude for what is good and believe that things can get better for you. Having these positive thoughts is the secret to a happier life.

New In Home Senior Care Client Turns To Internet Marketing
A new client, Good Company Senior Care, which is an In Home Senior Care agency, is realizing that Internet Marketing can be a very effective tool to increase their company's visibility.
One of the tools we've found to be hugely effective is the submitting of press releases to the myriad of Press Release Services on the Internet.
Here is an example of an outstanding press release:
In Home Senior Care Agency Fulfills Needs of Aging Elderly Parents
Good Company Senior Care Reports Growth in 2009 and Responds to Concerns of Aging Population
Los Angeles-based in home care agency Good Company Senior Care, Inc. reports steady growth in 2009, responding to high demand from a ‘sandwich generation’ squeezed between raising children and caring for elderly parents. Despite the recession economy, Good Company’s offices in Los Angeles and Rancho Cucamonga are both busier than ever, and are actively recruiting new caregivers.
“People are overwhelmed and they’re turning to us for help,” said Jack Merrick, Good Company’s co-executive director. “Imagine that you’re swamped with work and family responsibilities, then mom or dad becomes ill or very frail, or starts showing signs of dementia. You’re afraid for their safety but you can’t watch over them, and you don’t want them moved to an assisted living facility or nursing home. That’s where Good Company comes in.”
Good Company Senior Care is a non-medical home care provider with a staff of highly experienced, selectively-screened caregivers who help seniors live safer, healthier, happier lives. For a few hours a day or around-the-clock, Good Company caregivers help with daily tasks and activities, driving to appointments and errands, preparing healthy meals, bathing and grooming, and helping elderly clients stay active and engaged in life.
“It’s the little things that make a huge difference in health and quality of life,” Merrick explained. “Going for walks, socializing, having fresh laundry and healthy balanced meals.” Good Company caregivers also engage seniors with puzzles and games, keeping minds active to combat dementia. “We’ve seen such dramatic turnaround in clients after just a few weeks of in home caregiving help from our team,” he said.
While Good Company’s caregivers are not medical providers, they do make sure their elderly clients don’t skip medications, and they drive them to medical appointments. They maintain calendars and make sure medical follow-up care instructions are carried out, communicating frequently so that adult children know everything about their parents’ health issues and needs.
Almost as important as seniors’ quality of life improvement is the peace of mind gained by the adult children who reach out to Good Company. In many cases, they live too far away to visit their parents frequently or can’t provide the level of intensive daily care needed. Jack Merrick and his staff have folders full of letters and thank-you cards from clients expressing gratitude and appreciation. In many cases, caregivers stay with an elderly person right up to the end of their life, and become like members of the family.
Many seniors resist going into a nursing home or an assisted living facility; they want more than anything to stay in the comfort and security of their own homes. With longer life expectancies and constant medical advances, many more frail elderly people are struggling to live at home alone. These factors make in-home senior caregiving a fast growing industry sector, but experts warn consumers to be wary, check qualifications and screen senior care companies carefully.
Non-medical home health care is not well regulated, and there are a lot of cut-rate competitors who don’t screen staff carefully and don’t provide consistent coverage. Organizations like CAHSAH (California Association for Health Services at Home) advocate for home care issues, set industry standards, introduce best practices and provide certification for agencies. Good Company Senior Care is certified by CAHSAH and is known for exceptionally strict selectivity in screening caregivers for experience, reliability, compassion, and commitment. Of course, criminal background checks and DMV records are examined in detail too.
“We’re growing as a company not just because of high demand for in home senior care services, but because we set a very high standard – most of our business comes through referrals from current clients,” Merrick noted. “Some people shop around for lower rates but come to us after bad experiences with other home care agencies. Then they experience how we live up to every promise, and how we take care of seniors as if they were our own parents.”

Maximizing Article Submissions for Search Engine Optimization
Our client, Southland Dental Care, has agreed to use article writing and submission to maximize their Internet presence.
We recommend Article Marketing as one of the most effective ways to boost any website's presence. Once submitted to the different Article Directories, the articles become viral.
Directory submissions is another strong technique because the search engines give directories considerable "authority." We have submitted Dr. Delaram Hanookai, our Sherman Oaks Cosmetic Dentist client, into a number of directories and they are beginning to show up in the search engines.
Just two of the myriad techniques to improve a website's Internet presence.

MiniPharmacy.net Knocks Your Socks Off!
Our new client, Mini Pharmacy, recently discovered that more than 3,000 potential customers are searching for some kind of diabetic sock, each and every day.
Given that information, they are considering expanding their diabetic product line to include socks that appeal to a larger customer base.
This is a perfect example of Search Engine Optimization and keyword research helping a company put themselves in front of their potential customers.

SEO Einstein Announces Two New Business Wins
Here is a media release talking about our success in attracting new business interested in Search Engine Optimization. Welcome to Southland Dental Care and MiniPharmacy.net.
SEO EINSTEIN ANNOUNCES TWO NEW BUSINESS WINS
Clients Spanning Multiple Industries Propel Company's Aggressive Growth
LOS ANGELES, December 9— SEO Einstein, a Los Angeles-based Search Engine Optimization/Web 2.0 Marketing Development company announced today the addition of two significant new business wins, both of which were in one week’s time in early December 2009. The new client wins resulted from businesses seeking the company for its technology, internet marketing and search engine optimization expertise.
"These new business wins not only demonstrate SEO Einstein’s proactive and aggressive growth, but they also validate the depth of experience and the diversity of internet marketing expertise that the SEO Einstein Internet marketing team brings to each account," said Frank Buddenbrock, chief marketing officer and search engine optimization expert at SEO Einstein. "I am excited to welcome these two businesses to our growing client roster and am honored that these clients selected SEO Einstein as their Internet marketing partner. I’m looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with both of them."
The new accounts are:
-- Southland Dental Care, owned by Dr. Delaram Hanookai and Dr. Michael Abaian, is a leading dental health care practice with offices in Sherman Oaks and Bell, California offering a wide range of services, including Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Implants, Porcelain Veneers, Invisalign, Zoom, Periodontics, Endodontics and Oral Surgery.
-- MiniPharmacy.net, a family-owned, Los Angeles-based specialty pharmacy offering Diabetes supplies and education, Diabetes prescription services and the latest patient information about Diabetes diagnosis and care.
Buddenbrock continues, “I’m seeing a growing trend of businesses that invested a great deal of time, money and energy in the development of a website that is nowhere to be found who realize that there are special campaigns and techniques that can launch their website onto Google’s first page. A presence on the first page of the search engines is vital for companies that expect to see increased traffic. If their website in on page 4 or further back, they can pretty much forget about getting any traffic. We know from web statistics that most people doing a keyword search assume that if they didn’t find what they wanted by page 3, they need to refine their search and they’ll start over.”
Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Alta Vista, Hotbot, and Ask.com using “natural” or “organic” search results. Optimizing a website involves keyword research, content editing, effective html coding and increasing relevant inbound links.
Web 2.0 involves the development and evolution of web culture communities through social networking sites, blogs, forums, wikis, video and audio sharing sites, and articles directories.

Media Release- Out of Work? JobsWorkAndCareers.com Offers Free Resume Posting
Our associated website, JobsWorkAndCareers.com offers free resume posting mentioned here is a new media release.
Out of Work? JobsWorkAndCareers.com Website Offers Free Resume Posting
(Los Angeles, CA November 3, 2008)- With daily news reports of huge American companies (Yahoo, Circuit City, Lehman Brothers, Hewlett Packard, etc.) laying off scores of employees, thousands of out-of-work job hunters will be desperately seeking new jobs. They’ll be tuning up their resumes, linking in, email blasting, BlackBerry texting, pounding the keyboard, and the pavement, in their quest for a job.
JobsWorkAndCareers.com, a job board developed by FindAnExpertOnline.com founder Frank Buddenbrock, gives job seekers the opportunity to post their resume for free, and to search for and find that potentially perfect job.
“Job seekers are finding that they have a number of job boards where they can post their resume and a lot of places to look for that new job,” said Buddenbrock. “JobsWorkAndCareers.com will change all that by becoming one of the first job boards you’ll find when doing a Google or Yahoo search, either for employees who want to post a resume or for employers who want to post a job. My search engine optimization company, SEO Einstein, will be working fast and furiously to make JobsWorkAndCareers.com rank high on the first page of Google’s and Yahoo’s searches, just as we did with our experts directory which ranks #1 on Google for keywords ‘find an expert.’”
Job seekers, once they post their resume, can also elect to be notified whenever a job that meets their needs gets posted. JobsWorkAndCareers.com’s Job Alert system will automatically send an email to the job seeker’s Inbox with a notification of a newly posted job. The submission form is easy to fill out and gives the job seeker a chance to upload their resume, as well as a photo. Additional boxes allow location preference, interested positions and a salary range request. Job seekers will never pay a fee to keep their resumes on the job board and the resume will remain active for nine months.
Employers can post their available jobs on the site at a cost of $200.00 per job listing, a reduced fee over most job boards. Additional jobs may be posted at reduced volume discount rates.
According to Buddenbrock, “We're the job board where serious job seekers will find the best jobs. Employees and employers will both benefit from JobsWorkAndCareers.com’s eventual first page presence on Google and Yahoo.”
JobsWorkAndCareers.com can be found at 28191 Laura La Plante Drive, Agoura Hills, California, 91301. More information can be found at www.JobsWorkAndCareers.com or by calling (818) 991-7135.
